This is powerful stuff – stylistically maybe avant-pop, maybe folktronica, but it doesn’t matter: anyone who likes a certain kind of mood could get hooked. The lyrics are haunting, Kafkaesque. For instance, Citā dzīvē envisions taking a ticket and waiting in line to re-register oneself in a different life. You can feel something like this in the very rhythm / melody. Cameron Toll
